Managing Birth Trauma with HBOT

HBOT should be considered for any child who shows developmental delays where no identifiable cause can be found. This is especially relevant if there is a history of a difficult birth, or incidents of fetal or neonatal distress after delivery, or changes found at ultrasound intra-cranially after birth, usually indicate intra-cerebral hemorrhage or edema.

HBOT has also been shown to improve neurological findings in cerebral palsy patients. HBOT even years after injury may still show some improvement. Results in HBOT are vastly superior to standard therapies for CP. Also improvements were 5 times faster for CP than standard therapies.
