Symptoms

There are many different symptoms depending on the specific drug ranging from drowsiness to extreme paranoia. However, the general signs of addiction include:

  • Feeling the need to have the drug at least once daily
  • Doing risky activities while under the influence of the drug
  • Making certain you have a steady supply of the drug
  • Failing in attempts to stop using the drug
  • Getting the drug regardless of what it takes. This may include stealing, putting oneself in unsafe environments, and spending large amounts of money

Management Plan

Management has always been very complex since drug addictions many times consume the person's life, mentally, emotionally, and physically. There is no cure for drug addiction at the time, but there are managements such as medication/supplements, counseling, and lifestyle changes.

IV Therapy Alternative Management

At the Houston Wellness Clinic we practice a revolutionary approach that focuses on detoxifying the body free of addiction. The main component in this powerful therapy is using specific IV infusions tailored to each individual patient's condition. This includes a tailored list of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that are uniquely mixed together in specific amounts and administered intravenously in powerful doses. Additionally, if the doctor finds it necessary, other IVs may be used in combination depending on the situation such as hydrogen peroxide, oxidative stress reducers, and chelation.
